Chris Crowley
Chris joined Pathways Personnel in 1996 and has over 20 years of recruiting experience. He took over as president and owner of Pathways Personnel in February 2005. Still an active recruiter himself, Chris specializes in the placement of paralegals, litigation support professionals, contract attorneys and all levels of corporate and law firm management and executives on a contract and direct hire basis. Prior to coming to Pathways Personnel, Chris was with a large international staffing corporation for one year. Prior to his recruiting days, Chris spent four years as a litigation paralegal at a large San Francisco law firm. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Florida State University and a paralegal certificate from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
Terri Kent
Terri joined Pathways Personnel in 1989. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in corporate human resources and the personnel service industry to go with her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Master’s Degree in industrial psychology from Cal State University Hayward. Terri is extremely effective in matching corporation and law firm needs with highly qualified candidates. She believes that success as a recruiter comes from listening closely to find out the needs of both your job applicant and your client. Terri specializes in all levels of corporate and law firm staffing, from clerical to management.
Beth Harris
Beth joined Pathways following a career in Legal Recruiting where she held the position of Attorney Recruiting Manager in San Francisco at Bingham McCutchen and at Morrison Foerster. She has been a member of the Bay Area Association of Legal Placement and the National Association of Law Placement. Beth also worked for a time in sales at a local corporate team-building company and in recruiting at a mid-size CPA firm. Beth is a graduate of Mills College.
Darren Carmassi
Darren joins Pathways following a 20+ year career in Legal Recruiting for large law firms. Most recently, she was Regional Director of Legal Recruiting for the California offices of Bingham McCutchen. She has been active in the Bay Area Association of Legal Placement and the National Association of Law Placement. Prior to becoming a Legal Recruiter, Darren was a litigation paralegal.
Rita Santos
Rita joined Pathways following a 11-year career as a Client Services Manager for a very large national staffing agency specializing in the insurance industry. She has been in the staffing industry for over 20 years, starting as a Branch Manager for a light industrial staffing firm, then moving on to insurance staffing and now to legal and corporate staffing. Rita specializes in all levels of temporary and permanent placements within Administrative and Clerical staffing.
Jason Carini
Jason comes to Pathways Personnel from a leadership role at a boutique legal recruiting firm in San Francisco; he is now helping lead our expansion into New York City. Jason has nearly seven years of recruiting experience, and has helped clients fill positions ranging from General Counsels for Fortune 500 companies to receptionists for small, local law firms. He is also an attorney in active good standing, licensed to practice in California and Georgia. Jason received his BA in Political Science (International Relations) and Philosophy from Williams College and his JD from Boston College.
Gerry Gatchalian
Gerry has been the Office Administrator for Pathways Personnel since 1999. Before joining Pathways, Gerry’s career proved diverse. He has worked in industries such as Retail, I.T. and Banking. In this time, he worked as an Auditor, Recruiter, Operations Manager and Regional Trainer. During his 15-year tenure in the financial industry, Gerry has been honored with several customer service awards.
Damon Borrelli
Grew up on the east coast and attended Boston College. He has worked in human resources and recruiting for most of his career in both the private industry and the agency side. Started recruiting for the security and law enforcement sector in the late 80’s, before making the move to finance. He moved to California in 2005 and was the director of recruiting for a mid-sized national bank. He has spent the last 4 years recruiting mainly accounting and finance candidates, as well as Human Resources and administrative candidates for a mix of both corporate and law firm positions. Damon also has significant experience working with non-profit organizations.
