Job Description

Our client is a large international firm based out of the east coast and one of our favorite clients to work with in the Bay Area!   They have a large well established SF office.   Their warm and employee friendly environment is supported by the fact they have very little turnover!  They are seeking an experienced Trial Secretary with extensive trial experience to join their thriving office.

If you have 5+ years of experience and have gone to trial as a Litigation Secretary you will be eligible for a salary up to 90K, depending on years of experience, with a top benefit package.


This position supports 4 attorneys including two Partners.  In addition to litigation and trial support this role will provide Executive Assistant support to a rain making Partner that is out of the office frequently. The Trial Litigation Secretary will support all aspects of the attorneys' practice and manage critical administrative tasks.  The Secretary will prepare complex legal documents and correspondence.  Ability to use strong knowledge of legal terminology and advanced formatting skills to complete assignments; must have ability to generate TOCs, TOAs, and templates for legal pleadings and discovery. 


  1. Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary.
  2. Knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, e-filings, filings, pleadings, and calendaring
  3. Extensive knowledge of the litigation process and case progression
  4. Administrative experience with travel arrangements, meeting/conference scheduling, expense reporting and client communication.

Salary up to 90K depending on experience.
