Job Description

Our client is a major energy provider in California. They are seeking a temporary Recruiting Coordinator in their CONCORD office for a six-month project, starting at the end of January.

Qualifications:
Minimum

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team while practicing discretion with confidential information
  • Superior time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the recruiting organization

Desired

  • 2+ years of experience as a Recruiting
  • 2+ years of experience with web-based applicant tracking system (ATS) preferably iConnect 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the candidate offer process, including background verification, pre-employment drug screens, offer approval process, SAP entry, and candidate correspondence
  • Partner with Recruiters and Recruiting Manager to ensure proper execution of the hiring process
  • Coordinate interview scheduling (telephone, video, in-person)
  • Oversee travel details and communications between candidates
  • Proactively and positively respond to candidate and hiring supervisor inquiries, concerns and needs
  • Responsible for applicant tracking system maintenance, auditing, compliance, and ensuring all applicants are properly tracked
  • Partner with other HR departments and internal customers to ensure positive transition from candidate to new hire on-boarding
  • Communicate new hire documents to candidates and hiring supervisors
  • Responsible for generating reports from the applicant tracking system
  • Provide a high degree of professionalism and customer focus
  • Prioritize and coordinate work to ensure the needs of the Recruiters/customers and candidates are met
  • Manage confidential files and other privileged information for compliance and record-keeping 

Pay in the $25-27/hour range, DOE
